It got a bit quiet here in the forum regarding Madtronix and the imagers, but have a look what's happening in Sweden: madtronix.com/en/PS: My guess is that the parcels with the stamps will become a Vectrex collector item, one day. ;-) VectrexRoli has already done an unboxing:

If I remember right it is on the left or right inside of the visor on a roughly 5cmx3cm white sticker. the first numbers were starting at #01 I think. some of the later ones had a longer format. I will do some research and will gradually add this information to the website. The prototypes looked quite badass;-) here's a picture from the side, will have to add some more of my prototype to the site some time.If i remember right it was Alex Nicholson who in his nice British way suggested me changing the design:-) Maybe you should have stuck with the design and migrated to these welding hoods

I was actually looking into similar design of helmets back then, but with some the helmet alone was nearly as expensive as the whole imager now is and the current look fits the Vectrex best i think. I have about three other helmet designs lying around. It's incredible how many useless parts and tools I got alongside the process of making the imager. Like when I called a CD factory and asked them for CD's without the aluminium sputtered on them yet so that they were transparent. (Like the top and bottom disc in these 50 CD spindles that you could buy)

Nice photos:-) In retrospect I should've asked everyone if they need the 3D games multicart (just the original games), I got some emails from people they didn't have the 3D games home.

Now I need to get the 3D games.. I'm surprised with all the Vectrex stuff you have that you don't have any of them! Not even Vector 21, with the 3D Imager game demo on it?

Very nice! If I didn't already have a 3D Imager, I'd be getting one of these.

Got mine yesterday and it's pretty sweet. I've only played it for about 3 hours so far. .. I really want to build something around this. .. Wonder if it will lead to more 3D games. .. The color alone justifies this apparatus, as the vectors are way smoother than what i have seen on "color vector monitors".
... Crazy Coaster make no sense!

I got mine yesterday as well, and I am still in this "wow this is the coolest thing ever!" phase I've enjoyed each 3D game so far; I'm hoping this return of the Madtronix imager to the community leads to more 3D games in the near future! 3D Minestorm is good, but I find I can play it just fine without the Imager; the colors are pretty neat, though the 3D effect isn't anything substantial (though those rotating tracker mines look quite cool). 3D Crazy Coaster has a really cool scrolling effect and in higher levels it almost feels like I am on a roller coaster swerving side to side and ducking from ice cream cones and birds until I eventually fall off.. 3D Narrow Escape has a really neat 3D depth effect, but I find myself going back to Crazy Coaster the most during these first 24 hours of owning an Imager. Though I can see myself getting much more into it in the future. As far as the others: 3D Lord of the Robots employs a rather satisfying feeling of depth and the color scheme used is quite nice. I think of it as a Deluxe version of War of the Robots. The unfinished Star Fury demo on Vector 21 likewise has a neat perception of depth and I rather enjoy the color scheme, though it is unfortunate it was never completed. I wonder if Fury will someday release the source code for another to finish it. 3D Sector X is one that I hope to have access to someday. Thank you for your service to the Vectrex community, Madtronix
