You either need three hands or some kind of housing. I used to offer a really simple coupler made of corplast (that plastic cardboard that commercial signs are often printed on). As long as you don't give a crap about how things look, housing can actually be quite easy: even though I'm not a carpenter, to mimic the dual-joystick control of Robotron: 2084 for the Atari 7800 when I had the cart, I just found a piece of wood that had been carved into the shape of a shield in the garage, put the controllers where I wanted them to be on the shield, then drove in some nails to hold the controllers in place. Worked just fine.

Cut on solid lines. Fold on dotted lines to make rectangular box. Small square on left is for Vectrex joystick. Wide rectangle in middle is for Vectrex buttons. Large hole on right is for spinner. Small notch at top is for Vectrex controller cable. Small notch at right is for spinner cable. I used Coroplast (sturdy) and Velcro (easy to assemble and disassemble) to fasten the box together. Cardboard and tape work fine. Should take you five minutes to build.

Yes, you can play some spinner hacked original games in the Andrew´s multi, like Pole Position, Bedlam, Armor Attack and Minestorm II Simultaneous use of two separated controllers requires certain amount of juggling, as christophertumber said. But I´m reading good ideas in here Some of the Spinner Hack versions are on Andrew Colemans 72in1 Multi-Cart including Minestorm II. They utilize unmodified Atari driving controllers. Whoa! Blink, blink. Rub my eyes. Did I read that right? Unmodified? This keeps getting better and better.

...image... Cut on solid lines. Fold on dotted lines to make rectangular box. King d*ck! I upped your vec rep. Thanks for sharing your creation. I used Coroplast (sturdy) and Velcro (easy to assemble and disassemble) to fasten the box together. Cardboard and tape work fine. Should take you five minutes to build. If it should take me 5 minutes, somehow I will find a way to make it take two hours. This'll be way better than the weird balancing act I'm using currently.

Some of the Spinner Hack versions are on Andrew Colemans 72in1 Multi-Cart including Minestorm II. They utilize unmodified Atari driving controllers. I've found roms for most of the spinner hacks, and in most cases, I prefer the spinner versions - except for pole position, where it doesn't offer any noticeable advantage. I'm still searching for the Spinner hacks for Bedlam, and Omega Chase. Bedlam (spinner hack) is on Andrew Coleman's 72-in-one multicart, but since I already have multicarts from Hutchinson and Mateos, it's un-economical to buy a new multicart just for Bedlam spinner. Is Bedlam available anywhere at cost?

If it should take me 5 minutes, somehow I will find a way to make it take two hours. (laughs!) I know the feeling: it's like if someone tells me to go somewhere and even if I end up on the right street for whatever it is, if they use the Phrase of Doom (TM) of "you can't miss it", then I usually will

Did you use black coroplast? Yes, and black Velcro, I made a bunch of them back in the day as an option for people who bought the original Spinnerama. Can't find any photos of the final version (above) but here's an earlier prototype of a very different design.

I'm still searching for the Spinner hacks for Bedlam, and Omega Chase. FWIW, at some point I'd like to put new editions of OCD, Tsunami/VIX and Spinnerama into production.

This what came with the Spinnerama cart, I purchased last year. It included instructions that detailed the same as built. I'd be interested in modern versions of your old games.

This what came with the Spinnerama cart, I purchased last year. Yep, that's one - I must have gone through at least three designs then.
