Hi folks,
as I said in another Thread, I play WOTW at the moment.
I think I'm really bad in this Game. I Normaly score just something between 300 - 500.
What are you're scores?

First of all it's an awesome game. I love the graphics and gameplay although it is very tough to beat.
I think you currently are the high score king in this game.

Tough, tough game. You've really got to start good and get in a rhythm to even have a chance but I suck no matter what.

kokovec: 300-500 is Highscore? Are you sure? I've played it on easy today with my baby daughter and I've scored 1310  There must be a trick, but I didn't figured it out how it works on normal. 50tbrd: The deal is I'm running out of shields soon. And if you ain't got no shields, you're dead. Or do you know a way to dodge besides using shields? |

I was half joking.
Suffice it to say I've never held a high score at the arcades when I was younger unless they just turned on the machine.

The easy mode really is easy and I can't even bare to play a whole game this way.
I usually end a normal game in the 400 - 600 range, but I have certainly broken 1000 many times. I have never taken note of my highest though because I assume others have gotten much higher. .. Success depends very much on whether or not you can get any "Super Bonuses". If you destroy ALL of the little vibrating ninja stars that the mother ship drops in one of the bonus phases your droids and shields are COMPLETELY replenished. It's quite a boost and if you can master this part of the game you can probably play forever.

Ordered the game yesterday, and got the confirmation that it´s shipping on monday. Looking forward to give this a try  About the bossfight. Do you refill the shields by hitting those shurikens? Or how does it work? |

Becoming blind as a bat, i guess  Finally got the game today, and it sure is one hell of a though cookie. I get to about 300-400 points, on normal difficulty, and then I´m dead meat. Gonna try to get all those shurikens. Kinda wish that each life had 5 shields. Sure sucks to run out of them, when you have 3 lives left, turning them into sitting ducks  Hopefully I can get the hang on the game soon. Or my Vectrex might fly through the window tonight Those machines sure are creepy as hell when they emerge from the darkness. Works great with the Vectrexians overlay |

I got confirmation for #256/300 on July 1st. I dont think all units were sold by now.

It's listed under legacy games now. A bunch of people could have thought "I'd better get one now before they're gone" or Good Deal Games could have bought the remaining inventory. IDK.
