Folks - I wrote a page on how to restore the overlay on the joystick controller back in 2001 - the page disappeared with one of the too frequent disk crashes I've had on my web site - but I've restored the page and updated the dead links, so this should still be useful: www.gtoal.com/athome/vectrex/cpo.htmlBy the way the restoration is now 16 years old, but is still well attached and looks great. Some of the materials I used are no longer available - if anyone knows of a good substitute for Burlington Photo Silk paper, do post it here please. Graham

Great, just added this to the "Common Vectrex adjustments/repairs links" page Cool - maybe also add this old page that is still around on actual repair of the joystick and buttons?: www.playvectrex.com/shoptalk/vecjoyrepair/vecjoyrepair_f.htmhere is the other link I have bookmarked on the subject: www.vectrex.de/en/pflege-einstellen/#more-1300There are some pages to be found on homebrew peripherals (making lightpens, converting sega controllers to vectrex) but I don't know if those are things you want on that page? Do you consider converting a Sega controller an acceptable substitute for repairing an irreparable Vectrex controller?

It's a substitute indeed.
