Razmasynth has just released a YouTube video showing an early demo of his VipeUt clone. It's only the beginning but shows a lot of promise:

Ever since I saw the "fake" Vectrex game called VipeUt (itself an interpretation of WipeOut) in 2008, I always wondered if it would be possible on a real Vectrex. Let's hope Razmasynth is able to follow through - no pressure
