Right now I'm loving Nebula Commander (note current icon), as I've been playing it for a few weeks ;D An underrated, original game, in my opinion (I think the same goes for Moon Lander too, along with it also being cheap like NC, just not real original though, but that doesn't matter).
Vecmania was my first homebrew and is still very good, due to having nine games on it. Definitely worth the money, along with other "must haves" of Thrust and Protector/Y. A. S. I. Royal 21 has a lot of replay value too.

Vector Pilot is coming out at the end of this month?!?! Glorious! I love Time Pilot... So, in exchange for that I'll give you some news straight off the presses: I started a petition on the KLOV Arcade Museum forums requesting George from Fury to develop a remake of Tail Gunner for the Vectrex. There was a very positive reaction from the members there! forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=195985&page=4Needless to say, Tail Gunner has been put on his to-do list and we'll likely hear more about it next year! You're welcome! ;D

Yeah there's high hopes for Vector Pilot, as not only was Vectrexians very well received, but VectrexMad! also developed his AutoFire Dongle after being influenced by all the testing of the beta version of the game ;D

I kinda missed out on the AutoFire Dongle and still need to get Vectrexians I'll try to see if I can get both Vectrexians and Vector Pilot soon. Probably Vector Pilot first! I have way too many favorite Vectrex games, so my list would be a long one...

I kinda missed out on the AutoFire Dongle and still need to get Vectrexians You can contact VectrexMad! to see about when he's making another batch of Dongles. Last I heard he was making them on an as-needed basis. And I don't have Vectrexians either, due to my PayPal account being screwed up at the moment, plus it costs a bit. But oh well, it's top notch, has an overlay (one of the reasons it costs more), and it's from overseas. I still love my bottom of the screen shooters though! I have way too many favorite Vectrex games, so my list would be a long one... That's ok, there's many very good ones out there! ;D

I can see how the AutoFire would definitely save those buttons! I can't wait for the day when I can have a real arcade joystick for the Vectrex... Get some big, chunky, tough arcade parts and connect it all to the Vectrex ports! I think I saw it done before, but I could be wrong. If I could figure out a way to make one myself, I would! I've also got Sundance, Warrior, and War Of The Worlds on the way too! ;D I just wish that George would've allowed a mass cartridge release of WOTW Time Rift Only 10 games just like the original prototype arcade machine (supposedly).

Don't know if that tutorial is enough for you to make one yourself, but there ya go nonetheless I just wish that George would've allowed a mass cartridge release of WOTW Time Rift Only 10 games just like the original prototype arcade machine (supposedly). Well, I assume George's game is better, unless the original prototype was actually better than the later, released game but they made changes. I don't know...

I'd like to try to make a really high quality arcade stick for the Vectrex, so this will probably help. I think I know what parts I would use, but the problem is finding a joystick that can pull off both analog and digital functions. I know plenty of good digital joysticks, so i might just stick with digital, not sure. I know the War Of The Worlds 2011 remake is easily better than the original Cinematronics prototype, since it adds new gameplay, visual and sound features. It even has a pause button and adjustable difficulty! Needs an overlay and the cool cabinet art though The Time Rift version adds the ability to supposedly warp through time. All of the Time Rift games were sold by auction already, so until someone is feeling nice enough to let all the other Vectrex enthusiasts have a taste of how the gameplay looks, then the rest of us are out of luck!

You're welcome, it made me nuts for a couple of minutes until I could find out who's homebrewer site it was on. Didn't take too long to find though... Speaking of which, YOU'RE driving me nuts. Did you make a comment on one of my videos at some point? The name "futureprimitive" sounds familiar, but I can't place it/you. I'd like to try to make a really high quality arcade stick for the Vectrex, so this will probably help. I think I know what parts I would use, but the problem is finding a joystick that can pull off both analog and digital functions. I know plenty of good digital joysticks, so i might just stick with digital, not sure. Oh, good point on the latter. Yeah, you'd probably have to go digital on that one. Over 90% of all games will work with it; about the only ones that won't are Hyperchase, game #2 on Star Hawk and the Analog Version of Spike's Water Balloons. I know the War Of The Worlds 2011 remake is easily better than the original Cinematronics prototype, since it adds new gameplay, visual and sound features. It even has a pause button and adjustable difficulty! Nice to hear about the latter two, although several of George's games didn't necessarily need a pause though, like with I, Cyborg and Sectis, as if you got to a screen on those games where there was nothing attacking you you were safe, as arguably one wasn't really needed for those. Needs an overlay and the cool cabinet art though Maybe some day if a new set of Vectrex Wraps were made in that image... ;D The Time Rift version adds the ability to supposedly warp through time. All of the Time Rift games were sold by auction already, so until someone is feeling nice enough to let all the other Vectrex enthusiasts have a taste of how the gameplay looks, then the rest of us are out of luck! I want a video of Mine Storm III...

It's possible that it's from my Star Castle score on VectrexMad!'s site ;D www.vectrex.co.uk/Also, I kinda slightly ripped off the Powell Peralta Future Primitive skateboarding video (but that's only half of why I picked that name!)... If you notice on the Future Primitive video cover, it's in the style of an old cave painting. So, I thought, "Why not try that with video games, since it fits my personality?" Thus, FuturePrimitive was born! ____ It's possible that if Tail Gunner was released, then it would use analog just like the original, so I might take that in consideration when it comes to my arcade stick project. Or maybe digital/analog like Patriots III! I think Vectrex Wraps should've been part of the "Convert-A-Cab" style of the Vectrex! Kind of like the overlays and their little tabby things in front of the screen... Especially for the arcade ports that had a lot of cool art on the original cabinets. And an overlay for the control panel! I'll take a video of MineStorm III to go please!

The Vectrex Wraps include a wrap that goes on the control panel, if that's what you mean... BTW, thanks for the video for War of the Worlds. Some of those effects are pretty spiffy! And it didn't help that the guy who uploaded it didn't have the word "Vectrex" in the tags, or else I would've seen it two weeks ago

No problem! I wasn't completely sold on it until I watched the video. I remembered playing the original WOTW prototype on MAME...Despite the fact that the tripod and cannon designs were super pretty, the gameplay was missing something. From first impressions in the video, I was very impressed! Obviously, the video shouldn't be representative of the entire game, but it told me all I needed to know... It made me want the game! I wish the Cinematronics guys could see the remakes that George is coming up with... Faithful indeed!
