I remembered playing the original WOTW prototype on MAME...Despite the fact that the tripod and cannon designs were super pretty, the gameplay was missing something. There just wasn't much to it...it was too simple, no mothership bosses (I don't think?), so it got old quick... Obviously, the video shouldn't be representative of the entire game, but it told me all I needed to know... It made me want the game! Well, George does good work in general...especially in regards to improving Spiders with Zantis, since the original wasn't a very good game! I wish the Cinematronics guys could see the remakes that George is coming up with... Faithful indeed! Maybe they have It'd be cool to hear! BTW, congrats on the successful Tailgunner petition, I only just now took a glance at the thread...I'll have a closer looky at the other pages soon (just saw the last one)!

With the talk of the top 10 Vectrex games in the other thread, I thought I'd give this one a bump and ask what you think the top 10 homebrews would be Vector Pilot, although this won't be an "official" one from me since I haven't played it yet (I'm sure the same goes with Gravitrex Plus, especially since that has three games, along with possibly Vectrexians). Keeping that in mind, here are mine though, and not necessarily in order: 1. Vecmania (nine games) 2. Royal 21 (addicting and a lot of replay value) 3. Nebula Commander (original [to the best of my knowledge], addicting, lotta replay value) 4. Thrust 5. Moon Lander 6. Protector/Y*A*S*I 7. V-Frogger (so DAMN WELL DONE!) 8. I, Cyborg 9. Continuum (one of the few puzzle games, simple, yet can be devious) 10. Controllers and mods various homebrewers have done (I figure this should be in here )
