Wow, did everyone see the ending prices for the bunch of Fury Unlimited games on eBay that finished last night?
A couple I expected to be high but not all of them... many of those were made in a run of 100 or more, non?

yes I think prices may be ok for Sectis (150 copies but only 100 in that version), Zantis, Hexed (50) or 3D sector X, if you consider these with a collector's eye (not for a gamer). But surely, Royal 21 and Continuum are not worth it today : I bought last week Continuum for 35 USD and Royal 21 for 30 USD in december 2013. But nonetheless very happy for Jason !!   |

I had a feeling that they would garner more attention just because of the activity the other significant items were getting. Let that be a lesson to anyone else about smart selling. Congratulations, Jason. Maybe now he can afford to do a few other Vectrex related items for the community.

Considering Continuum, Royal 21 and Sundance are still available on GDG, then yeah, I suspect the buyers don't realise they are not all sold out.

Where is that picture somebody posted recently of an old Vectrex homebrew that had a label on it "please do not sell this..." Protector LE also has a note that it should not be sold for more than x dollars. EDIT: The exact note says: This Vectrex Game Cartridge was produced by gaming enthusiasts for the enjoyment of fellow enthusiasts. It was sold for the materials cost (US $11.50 in 2003). Please do not ruin the spirit of our hobby by reselling the cartridge for a profit. |
