Wooooa ... very interesting, hope you are going to tell us what is due to. Would you test other games to see if there is an interest in playing in this position ( "horizontal" games like spike, soccer, scramble, pole position ... )

Should be an easy fix. :] -Jason Listen. Some of us 'round here have to get the manual out to wire a plug.

It is rather amazing how it is perfectly 90 degrees. Put some rubber legs on the one side, and let her go.

Well, not quite perfect from the first pic, but yeah, I thought that was surprising too how fairly well it's centered.

Awesome! I saw the listing where the seller said, something like, ... or you could turn it on its side and play it as is. Do the vectors extend all the way to the right and left sides? If they do, it would be cool to play Protector in horizontal mode. Then mount the thing in a dedicated horizontal VecCab. And then we have a new platform Vectrex Horizon. Developers can offer a switchable horizontal mode for optimal scaling of horizontal side scrollers, etc. 2014! Year of the Vectrex!Let us know if you try Protector and it's not pillarboxed!

^It'd be cool if he had the Zektor deal too where Battlezone and all was run through the Vectrex, although it had to be turned on its side as well for several arcade vector games.

Some yokester opened this Vec up & did a number on the yoke windings & magnets. Simple fix after all--phew! There were a few other things left a little sloppy/loose inside, & it was rather dirty, but no damage or anything. It's cleaning up nicely. Here's a quick pic of it after adjusting the yoke wires but before tuning in the magnets & such. -Jason Attachments:
