Dear Members,
I just registered when I stumbled on this site. I am a collector and gamer, active on several forums you probably might registered on yourself. Have been reading in the past on this console repeatedly over the last 10 years, but only got interested in it the last days.
Recently I have been looking for a complete Vectrex set and since I´d rather buy from a forum member than from Feebay, I thought I´d post my request here. Maybe someone wants to part with it or has a spare set he offerst to sell?
Please feel free to ask any questions, you can even contact me from another forum where you see my avatar/nick combo.

Didn´t know they´re so rare --- some are up on sale on Ebay at the moment, but either their condition is pretty bad or the price is way to high...
Hope I am lucky soon...
Any hint where else I could look for?

Not really, just keep on looking online and in person at resale shops (if there are any where you live), flea markets and garage sales (could be that season for the latter, depending on where you live). It'll take time, unfortunately, or maybe you'll have one in a couple of weeks, you never know!
Maybe someone else on here will have a tip, as that's all I've got.

Ok, thanks. Unfortunately I live in a place where the Vectrex never was a "native"...so flea markets and resellers are quite unlikely  |

Craigslist is really the best place. Local, no worries about shipping damage. Usually you can get a good deal, if they really knew the market they'd sell on Ebay. And they often come with CIB games so of which may be rare. I've seen a number of sellers on craigslist including games like Polar Rescue, Star Castle or Pole Position, even 3D Imagers and I even got Japanese games once. Plus, since money is right there in front of them, they are more willing to negotiate on the price.

They have craigslist in Europe though I doubt its as easy to find Vectri in Europe on there than it is in America but your profile didn't mention that you lived abroad.

Hmm...yes that would be indeed a problem. Since I am required to run it from 220 Volts...that makes it even harder to find.

hat der nen guten Tip, wie du kostengünstig an einen rankommst, außerhalb von Ebay.
