Just need some more game titles new with light pen control or a fully working Mail Plane binary *cough* HINT *cough* ;D Yeah, they've done a bit of good for the Vectrex, due to their SNES controllers made to work for the system too.

www.vectrex.nl > Games has great scans of boxart, manuals, and overlays Chuck (recycledgamer) is a buddy of mine and lives in my area. He really knows his Vectrex, and the impact his lightpens have made on the community has been huge. He's really cool about servicing his products (swapped me out for a new SNES controller when my original's contacts wore out), and also helps organize the Portland Retro Gaming Expo every year. Very cool guy, buy his stuff!

does anyone know what phototransistors recycledgamer used in these repros? The original one mentioned in the online DIY lightpen instructions isn't made anymore, the NTE replacement is like $11 and it's bandwidth is overkill for what it's doing ...

I have all the pieces to make my own and bought it on ebay. It was the most expensive component.
