This isn't a perfect reproduction, but good enough for my own use. Just thought I would share. The PNG raster file is 600 dpi and the correct size. The SVG vector file is to scale but not the correct size. 20140802 Spinball Repro Overlay.svg (41.43 KB) If anyone wants to improve it, be my guest

It looks like the real thing to me. What's different about it?

It looks like the real thing to me. What's different about it? I was working from low resolution images off the web because I don't have the original or high quality scans to work from. I am unsure about the correct font placement, and certain that the font I used is not exact. The text logo is also a "guesstimate," as are the action lines accompanying the text logo. I didn't add the finger access cutout to the image, either. I'm sure there are other issues. But it looks OK when playing it on my Vectrex, so I'm OK with it

A while back I scanned all the overlays high quality for a guy who was gonna create repors... I think he went quiet/missing after that... if I still have the scans I'm happy to send them on.

I'll improve this one and over time I will do the other overlays, then post the completed images for others to use

Unfortunately, its just not worth it to make repros of some games because you can buy used ones for cheaper than you can buy most new ones. The few exceptions are Minestorm, Pole Position, Polar Rescue, and Star Castle which go for more than the 10-15 that the others do. You can ask whatever you want for Homebrew designs because there's no other place to get them.

I was making the repro overlays for myself and have no intentions of mass production. Whether making these via inkjet or screen printing, it is not a viable "business venture" to reproduce overlays. For example, I've spent $50 in materials to produce 4 good overlays Not something I want to repeat.

Yeah, really only good for personal use or if you intend to include them with a game you are releasing. I have made a lot of them and used them for testing overlay designs for a few people.
