 Spike 26,400 Well THIS was a monster to do! The flash kept on going off (even when covered) and obscuring the score, the photo would be blurry, etc...then the batteries threatened to go out! I couldn't find the adapter for the camera either; luckily I was able to get in a shot, then immediately started charging the blasted things. Very last, or maybe I have one more score I can get...I couldn't get anywhere close to beating one from earlier, so maybe that's it from me. |

Well, here are my last submissions for VW:V as I won't be playing tomorrow. I thought I'd try my hand at the remaining games on the list just for fun. I didn't have as much time to play as I would have liked to this year, but the scores everyone has been posting are very impressive so I'm not sure I'd stand much of a chance, anyways! Thank you very much. But I will be working all day and unable to do any more. Wow, there are some pro players here! I am so impressed by these scores. I wish I weren't so out-of-practice, but I am so determined to do even better next year! I did not have 2 of these games, have not really gotten into a few of these games until I really played them in earnest for this event, and know that if I had more time between work and family I could have posted better scores,.. but I had a lot of fun doing this! Best of luck to you all this final day - I look forward to the final results. ^_^

LOL... If I had read the rules and competition times correctly... I made 4 hours ago a spike highscore of 90100, then a friend visited me and I thought I could upload the score later, because Vector War runs until end of Saturday EST-time... But it's only until 18:00 EST time... Half an hour too late now... I'm soooo... ahhrg :-)
But anyway, it's just all a game, it was funny to participe and play vs. the best Vectrex players (on the world?) :-) Also congratulations to Coleco1981, VectorX and all other participants for their great scores and results. I didn't beat this pole position score and Tour de France time...
And special thanks to hcmffm to organize and updating the score table.
PS: Maybe good, that I didn't read the exact ending time, so I don't have to play the whole night Pole Position and Tour the France ;-)

Yeah, I had always been a Hyper Chase guy and even when I acquired Pole Position last year I only dabbled with it here and there from time to time - but I really got into playing it during the Vector War. I love it now - you're right about it getting intense like that, but oh so satisfying! |
