I got a direct email about this recently, and someone was asking about how to fix overlays in the Vectrex fans unite! facebook group the other day. Unfortunately (fortunately?) I have left the body shop industry so I do not have access to the equipment any more.
You can probably do this yourself, very carefully, by going to a body shop supplier and asking they put about 8oz into a spray can for you of the shop line clear. I would recommend getting a few extra ounces and test spraying the clear about 6-10 inches away to get a feel for how it lays out. If you put too much material on and it runs you can wait a week and sand it lightly with 600-1000 grit to knock down the runs and re-clear.
