Goddammit, I can't go and they're going to have Aztarac! A vector game I've never seen in person. And they'll have Canyon Bomber, an old favorite as well. I see the Missile Command 2 prototype game will be back, of course, when I won't be there (played it the first time it was there, very cool 2-player game in a converted Football cocktail). I'll just bet that when I can go those games won't be there. Anyone who's never gone to that, and can, needs to go.

My brother has our old 2600 and a bunch of the cartridges (probably including Canyon Bomber) as just loose games. I want a boxed system. I bought a boxed Sears Tele-Games version a while ago, plan of getting it converted to RGA outputs. And I have some of the boxed Sears cartridges. I grew up with those (and Atari versions) so I sort of want the Atari brand games to be the Sears versions. And I love "Stellar Track" which is a Sears exclusive, it's one of my favorite games. I really like those black boxes, too. I hope I can make the California Extreme expo next year. But I'm sure if I do then Aztarac and Missile Command 2 won't be there, of course. |

I also love Stellar Track! Most don't. I'll admit it gets pretty unfair at times but it was nowhere near as bad as people say it is (in my [minority] opinion).
Well, hopefully you can get to an expo at some point...
