Here comes my final scores for this war. I never did manage to get a score in on HyperChase. But I did manage to squeeze out few more points from the chasm and the tower. playvectrex : Really great that Addie the Cookie has qualified! That makes me happy and the Vector War really complete: 20 participants and even 20 qualified. Great! I was hoping this would happen as well. |

OK... I suppose, it wasn't meant to be... Always 2 crashes in Hyperchase, no "berzerking" in Berzerk, and no luck / good achievements in the other games anymore :-( Ah well, it happens, as you can't play Berzerk without good controls. As I said earlier, I've hit 12,000 on it before but my only (original) controller I have (that came with my Vectrex in '84!) can't fire straight down, it usually goes down and to the left. I tried using an electronic contact cleaner, which helped a little, but then the glitch hit so it really wasn't worth wasting my time on a "maybe". I tried using your Cosmic Chasm tip about the shields but got screwed over in other ways, then meant to pass Malban with Vec-Man and possibly Space Frenzy, but then I found out earlier I only had six more hours and I had other things to do today, so that's why I didn't bother today. Oh well. Possibly 6th place out of 20 with having some limits on my part is pretty decent though. |

Everytime I think I have a chance in Berzerk it glitches out.

Hyperchase 100.4 I think below 100 is possible. But my races are erratic, one score very good, the other nearly not qualified at all. Good that this is a "quick" game.
I was quite proud of my Berzerk score, till I saw the >16000 score of coleco...
Dunno if I'll ever be able to pull that off (on "normal" Berzerk).
Would have loved to try VecMan and Cosmic Chasm some more... But even if I get a new score - it will be passed the VW timing.
So now I am really done.

My two game updates for the day... 2048 and Cosmic Chasm. REALLY stoked about Cosmic Chasm! I made it to the end of the 3rd Mission with 4 lives left, placed the bomb and just could not escape due to the size of the walls expanding and just died 4 times. On the last life I managed to pick off the last enemy in the room that was expanding for a tiny bit extra! Talk about fingers cramping up!!
