Star Trek is requires a ridiculous amount of shooting, Well yeah, it's not like there's been a time ever where you heard "Star Trek: The Motion Picture, an early platformer for the Vectrex..." I just couldn't hold it to 500,000 like I have in the past. This seemed easier a few years ago - I'm getting old! We were both snakebit at first. I was able to get to it tonight, although I was REALLY sweating it out for a bit when I was down to two ships, almost no shields whatsoever and the mother ship was coming up...and I got her immediately! Then I barely made it to the starbase on level 1 (would've been pathetic when taken out of context, but when you had almost no shields...!). Star Trek 500,000

Highscore list has been updated. Current top3 ranking: 1. Malban (600pts) 2. limitzer0 (534pts) 3. arquillos (517pts) arquillos and 8-Bit Waves and swapped ranks. ___ pfromdapab: Welcome to the Vector War. Please make sure to include the current score code in your photographs (maybe I just haven't seen it because I looked very briefly.). Your score of Hyperchase isn't valid because you didn't reach the threshold score which is 125,0s for Hyperchase. Threshold scores are listed in the original post. @addy The Cookie: Welcome to your first Vector War! I wish you good luck and fun! coleco1981: Welcome, John, to another Vector War! Wouldn't be a real Vector War without you! arquillos: Great Berzerk score! D-Type: Your first game of 2048!? Hands down - I'm very impressed! @vectorx: Congrats to your completing Star Trek/StarShip! I have the feeling that the Star Trek/Star Ship maximum score is too high while the Star Castle maximum score is too low. But for this Vector War we'll stick to it and will discuss this once the Vector War is over. @all: Currently, it's 18 particpants in the Vector War which is quite good. As some people wrote already: Some scores are really high.

Code Nazare - Berzerk: 12530Gee, I hoped I was done with Berzerk. I still have this afternoon... but Berzerk is ok'ish since it doesn't take so much time.
Not sure if I try tackling any other game. Cosmic Chasm - I don't really like the drill/wall detection Dark Tower - never played it, I doubt I can make it thru in my first few games... Veccy Bird - 4 I might be able to reach, but more? 2048 - I know it is a game one can be good at, but for me it somehow feels random... (but this is also a game I didn't play to extensivly)
Nah, I'll concentrate this evening on Berzerk :-).

2048 - I know it is a game one can be good at, but for me it somehow feels random... It should be random, but the spawning of the tiles makes me wonder about the random number generator, as a couple of times I had the same tile appearing in the same place an uncomfortable number times sequentially. I can get to 2048 more than half the time, you do become more skilled at it, the real skill is recovery after making a mistake.
