Hey, all. The foam pad on my imager is slowly turning to black dust. Does anybody know of a suitable replacement? I apologize if this has been covered already, but I could't find any threads on it.

First, I think I'll try polyurethane foam (at least I think what it is) and hit it with some Flexseal. Getting the shape right looks like it might be a challenge. Depends on whether I can shape the foam with a Dremel or whether I'll have to do it some other way. When I get some foam ordered, I'll report back.

I just had a look at my original which is in immaculate condition and it look very close to the foam insert that was inside my costume Rocketeer helmet. Perhaps an old motorcycle or bike helmet will have something on the inside that you can use and may be attainable at a thrift store, yardsale, or flee market.
Alternatively, you could layer craft foam until its a suitable thickness.
Or, the insert for Nox/Deathchase or StramashZone uses foam of the exact thickness. Steal the foam from there or ask Chris/James for an extra insert the next time they release a new CIB game.
