Ralf Kornmann, a video game developer located in Germany, has started a port of the famous space trading video game "Elite". The original Elite written by David Braben and Ian was an outstanding game at that time and was available on many home computer platforms like the Commodore C64 for example.
Ralf posts videos of the current development in the Facebook group "Vectrex Fans Unite!". Here's a current sample video which shows his progress on explosions:
