Shipping was quoted as 53 euros. Ouch. Not sure if I'll buy mine.

Alternative: Win the coming Vector War and chose a copy of Vectorblade as prize. Honestly, Malban has donated kindly a copy of Vectorblade for the coming Vector War X. Thank you very much, Malban!

I plan to pay for mine soon but I would consider some sort of shared ownership scheme if anyone is interested, my favorite being you pay for it now and I get it first then send it to you after I play for a while.
Yesterday when I set up paypal payment it was $163 to pay from paypal balance but more to pay from bank, so I'm waiting for a manual transfer to avoid that extra.

Best to work it out with someone on Facebook. There were a lot of people there who were broken up about not getting one.

Oh man imagine if I win both the prototype and final version Yepp, that would be cool. I have to correct myself: You don't have to win the Vector War to have a chance to win a copy of Vectorblade. As desired by Malban (author of Vectorblade and donator of the copy), Vectorblade will be a random prize, so anyone participating and qualifying in the Vector War will have a chance.

Oh no! Darnit! I missed this completly, was too long not online, and didn't watch any Vectrex news... So my only hope is Vector War. That's the punishment for inattentive people like me. Isn't there a number 101 to buy (yeah I know, nice try...)

I have a question. How do I remove the protective plastic on the overlay? I can't feel an edge that I can lift from it. Is there some trick?

When you encounter a Vectrex Overlay with a protective film, or Vectrex Box Protectors with a protective film that cannot be easily removed with only your fingers, I suggest using a bit of packing tape to provide grip to peel back the edge of the protective film.

I actually tried that too and it would not come off either! Maybe I need to leave it longer than I did to see if it comes off.
