Yes and no. And yes. This is all stuff I have been experimenting with during the past two years, and I eventually stopped working on it when things got too busy. In the past weeks, things got less busy, so I started preserving and documenting the state of each project. Coming Monday, the new semester will start, and things will again get very busy.
I want to continue working on one of these projects whenever I will find some spare time, and right now I am trying to find out which project that should be. And that is, why some feedback and everyone’s thoughts on all this stuff are greatly appreciated.
Cheers, Peer

As you said Number Cruncher is Vec Man meets Rotor. Cave Racer is different and i also loved to play scramble, later i played SMS version of choplifter a lot. From the video i would say: BETA when? Btw. again your music catches me and reminds me of endless Manic Miner sessions. Personally i prefer doing new things instead of repeating, because there is more to learn

Btw. again your music catches me and reminds me of endless Manic Miner sessions. Thanks a lot, drsnuggles, for playing the prototypes and for your feedback! Highly appreciated!
Number Cruncher:
- Curious, how far did you get?
- Did you spot any bugs?
Music: - The Rotor theme is "Popcorn" by "Hot Butter".
- Number Cruncher melodies are taken from "Sesame Street", "Pippi Longstocking", and from the German educational kids television series "Die Maus", all of which are somehow aimed at teaching children how to count.
- The Cave Racer theme is "The Hall of the Mountain King" written by Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg for Norwegian dramatist Henrik Ibsen's play "Peer Gynt". I found that quite fitting for this game. Of course, any similarities of names are purely coincidental
Cave Racer Beta:
- Hard to say when. If I continue working on this game, probably by November?
- Thing is, I first want to bring "Projekt_X" to a playable prototype status and put that and some screenshots up on the web page, because it is currently the last remaining unfinished and undocumented project of mine.
- Once that is done, I will decide which of all those projects to finish first. Suggestions will be welcome
Cheers, Peer

(This is a cross-post)
November 1st, 2022: Happy International Play Your Vectrex Day everyone! In this year's currently ongoing Vector War, due to a generous present which I was given by fmml and hcmffm , I was able to play "VeCaves". I like the game a lot, and it reminded me of one of my own projects, which I had started in 2019 and never finished. It is called "Cave Racer", and it was my attempt at writing a flexible side-scroller engine. It reached some prototype status, and at some point I wrote about it on the forum. Playing "VeCaves", I realized, that so far I had never released the "Cave Racer" prototype to the public for evaluation. Honoring today's event, here now it is: itwww.hs-pforzheim.de/daten/mitarbeiter/johannsen/vectrex_lab/projects/cave_racer/cave_racer.htmWould be cool to know if this is worth completing and turning it into whatever type of game. Please read the "How to Play" and "Trivia" sections on the web page. There are two modes: aircraft and bat, and you can select between 8 different caves. Download section and online playing link are further below on the page. Ideas are welcome, but please note that this is written in C and almost at the frame rate limit. Not much room for shooting action anymore. Have Fun! Many Cheers, Peer

With the additions of several more caves and two modes to play I think just from that alone (even though I haven't tried it) merits completing the game. But that's my assumption, at least.
