Slight improvement on a couple of games. Did play KnightEx and Beer yesterday but forgot to post. I could barely read my score on KnightEx. Beer is a fun game! Thanks for the tip about pressing Button 2, I also should really read the manual! Will play more tomorrow, in last ditch attempt at mediocrity. GWSL - 8100 Big Blue - 4 Treasures drive.google.com/folderview?id=1iNa6TbzmEwXHehgv7CQpEs1a7m3rCEym

Solar Quest: 134600 Get the beer: 1/5 Played some Web Wars, but no improvement. Cheers to everyone playing Vectrex! PS: Taking a clear score picture of KnightEx is much easier when you turn the brightness down a bit. At least worked for me.

High All. Tour de France: 00:56:58 A little improvement in Tour de France - but I was not able to beat limitzer0's time. Great time limitzer0 by the way :-) Tatanga: If you didn't play Tour de France very often yet, then your time 1:19:74 is not bad. And consider, you can still improve your time a lot which will be very motivating for you, but it just took me now 1 hour to improve my time by a few hundredths of a second, what was not very motivating. limitzer0: Yes it's hard to catch all 20 creatures in Web Wars in the first time. But isn't it a great feeling, when you catch all 20 for the first time and you have them all in the trophy room? I'm still trying to reach over 24 creatures. Because the game is continue counting after 20 creatures, but is taking then "scrap data" out of the memory, because there are only data for 20 creatures. Not easy to describe it with my English skills, but I'm sure you as a coder understand what I mean / how this works. Note: The 21st creature is invisible. Either accidentally or intentionally by the programmers, that players don't see a 21st creature flying around. (So in "level 21" always keep pressing button 3 to capture the invisible creature 21 with luck.) Creatures 22-24 are strange lines or a dot in the trophy room, also depending of the Web Wars version you have. My European Web Wars has at least a different graphic for creature 22 compared to the version that was provided here in the forum. (Or it's a difference because original cartridge or Vecflash cartridge and how or from where exactly the program is taking the "creature data") Thanks all for your compliments about my Solar Quest score. It's great, but I think we had over 400'000 points already in a Vector War some years ago, when Solar Quest was also in the game list. My score is beatable - maybe already this night, or on Saturday? I believe that already some of you are "working" on it? But in Galaxy Wars, I was not able to improve yet. My best score was done, BEFORE I learned, that you can hit always the highlightes / bold U.F.O.s in the Galaxy War levels, to get much higher score when you are hitting them. But only as long as you always hit the "highlighted" U.F.O. next. If not, you loose your "bonus chain". I don't understand / remember how I did this high score without doing this tactic in the first few games. If you hit always the highlighted U.F.O. you already reach about 5000 points in the first level... And yes, getting all 8 treasures in Big Blue needed some training / practise, but then it was doable. Also I have seen here otherwise many super scores from other players. Just awesome great :-) Sorry spamming all the text here in the tournament threat, and not in the discussion thread. (Next time I will do it there, but I think not everybody will read it there.)

Yeah, it gets insanely competitive the further along you get in the contest!

Hi quohog. Welcome here, and you already have some great scores. Cool. Have fun. Just note: In WebWars, we are counting the trophies that you got. (On your picture are 6 trophies visible) We do this in WebWars, because there are possibilities to get a lot of points/score without effort in this game, so it is more difficult for the players to get the trophies, instead of just points. But the rest, you are doing well everything as far as I see.

A lot different than my previous runs for sure. I wish I knew about the hidden trophy at that point. Does it overwrite your other trophies if you catch them?

munch - big blue - 2 munch - gwsl - 2732 munch - scramble - 6650 munch - solar quest - 22300 munch - star trek - 23400 p.s. I'm still hoping he'll play Zombie USA He tried Gyrostronomy and had an allergic reaction to the controls (LEFT/CW and RIGHT/CCW would be pretty nice, like Vectrexagon) I thought he'd really be into Vector War again, but without any tangible prizes these kids hardly seem motivated this year. His new gaming computer (just received for his birthday last month) is really taking over since he can finally play good games with his friends. I did promise both of them donuts if they could qualify, so there's that VectorWolf is looking forward to beating her brother this year!
