 Hi folks and especially Peer, As i come to this forum from time to time and read all about Vectrex stuffs (new games, controllers, ideas, etc...), i wanted to make a small contribution, especially for Peer as he and all his past/present students have given us a lot of new Vectrex games and surely more in the upcoming years. I just wanted to say first a big thank you for all the hard work (same as for all the programmers here on this forum too  ). Second, i have made an overlay for the game "The Count" and wanted to share it. I'm not the best painter/designer but hope some of you will like it. |

wow, that is great!!! Thanks a lot for creating this overlay, and also thanks a lot for your encouraging words! Both is highly appreaciated and a great motivation to keep going 
Which reminds me that The Count is still a beta version and that I still have to do the final release...
Do I get your permission to put your overlay on my project web page of The Count? You will, of course, be credited as creator.

Hi Peer, thanks very much. Well you are teaching a whole new generation about the Vectrex so it takes patience and a lot of motivation. Yes you can use the overlay for your project as i didn't know if you would like it or not. I am in the (slowly) making some new overlays or modding existing ones to have a more "arcade" look (like Vector Patrol) as a lot of homebrewed Vectrex games are missing overlays. Here are some few overlays for anyone to enjoy!
I also remade the "test' overlay with transparency and future overlays will be uploaded here:

Alternatively, the VectorX or a moderator might split the appropriate posts into a new topic (not sure whether Proboard supports this, though). |
