I've finished a breadboard build of an adapter for USB devices to the Vectrex joystick port. Details are at gtoal.com/vectrex/joystick/USB-to-Vectrex.html with a video at youtu.be/ldAH9oq4zHY - I'm hoping this build is simple enough that folks can build one for themselves. Although I'm not planning to sell pre-built boards, I am considering putting together kits of the components that you would need, to cut down on the overhead of shipping costs - I know how frustrating it can be to pay in the 5 to 8 dollar range to ship a 25 cent component, and then have to do that several times for a selection of half a dozen small components that all come from different suppliers. I'll keep that web page updated as I improve the software or if there are any developments on the hardware front. Graham

Interesting, Graham! Thanks for posting the details. You mentioned BT (bluetooth), maybe you could provide some insight about connecting a bluetooth transmitter to the game card pcb. I'm hoping to have the Vectrex output an integer value through bluetooth to my cellphone. I just posted a question about it a little earlier today in the forum. I guess the pcb is the only place you can 'write out' data from the vectrex...like they do for saving games, etc. Now I'm thinking that you might be able to send out data from the joystick 2 port, since that's how the Vectrex controls the 3d Imager, right?

^Right. Can't comment about anything else in your post since I'm not a tech person but I'm liking the ideas I'm hearing
