An analysis of Joy_Analog and Vec_Joy_Resltn

Triggered by this post, I did an analysis of the Joy_Analog() BIOS routine and of the resolution of its computed values depending on the the parameter Vec_Joy_Resltn. Follow the links to read.

Whoa, great work Peer! (Also thanks to Graham for the push to investigate)

Just read through this and was thinking it would be really cool to add a patched version of the Joy_Analog BIOS routine to Hyperchase and Star Hawk in the game binary. So wherever Joy_Analog is called, jsr to the patched routine that lives at the end of the game rom instead. Would be very fun to play around with those without having to patch our BIOS ROMs

Yes, providing such binaries for Hyperchase and Star Hawk is already on my to-do list. I am currently occupied by yet another Vectrex project I am going to post about soon...
