Wow super Bedlam score Peer, well done Thanks!
Oh man, that game really deserves its name. The end was intense. I think I could have even squeezed out some more points if not for the zapper-bug. In the last levels, the zappers completely stopped working. But still, I love that game!

When I was playing I noticed in one instance the zapper flashed the screen but nothing died. Is this a bug? What causes it? It wasn't very far. Level 5 I think?

Fun fact: I find my bug-fixed 30Hz version of Bedlam (no stuttering in higher levels, zapper always correctly working, life-display correct) a lot harder to play than the original (which of course I play in the tournament). Though the zapper sometimes does not work in higher levels, the stuttering makes those levels actually slower than they should be, and thus easier than without the stuttering. Do you feel the same?
@peer: Ouhhh great new Bedlam highscore that you did today :-) I have to compare the original Bedlam again with your fixed 30Hz version. But yes, if I remember correct, first time when you send me the bug-fixed version and I played, I thought a bit: Is it harder, or did I loose my practise? So it really can be a bit, that the original is a bit easier, due to the slow downs.

Highscore list has been updated - see initial post. Current top 5 ranking: 1. kiwasabi (567pts) 2. mozie (555pts) 3. Peer (532pts) 4. Chainsaw (528pts) 5. arquillos (498pts) Chris S. (@malban) has joined in and qualified. Congratulations! EDIH - Beating the gameJohn ( mozie ) has beaten EDIH. In case more persons beat the game, all those players will get 100pts for EDIH. Wooden spoon - Handling of immune playersLindberg family's kitchen is full and they don't want the Vector War wooden spoon. Question is: Who will win the wooden spoon? Winner of the wooden spoon will be second last. When determining second last player - those players immune to the wooden spoon (i.e. who cannot win the wooden spoon as prize) aren't taken into account and are not counted. If I got you (Tony) right, Tony himself, Len, Moyu and Mans are immune to the wooden spoon. Two random prizesGood news: Chris M. ( binarystar ) donated a special edition of EDIH plus a special edition of Unicorn Galaxy. Both cartridges will be random prizes, i.e. any qualified player except the top 4 winners can win these prizes. ___ @ John ( mozie ): Great that you've beaten EDIH! Actually, I couldn't remember that EDIH was beatable. EDIT: Just looked up in the highscore list of Vector War X and the highest score was your score: 22130. @ John ( Sketcz ): Thanks for sharing the fast rotate hint. I'll try that one out. I guess control will be a bit like Snake.io, then, super fast and sometimes out of control. @ John ( mozie): Takes his Vectrex console on tour. That's real love and dedication to the Vectrex hobby. @ Måns: Great Vectrexagon score - second best score, atm. @ Len: Excellent race car driving. IIRC, Pole Position was your favorite game from Vectrex day 1. @peer: Stellar Bedlam score. @ Chris ( Malban): Thank you for passing by and qualifying. Greetings to D'dorf! kiwasabi: Excellent playing! Be prepared that it will get even tougher - there are strong and keen players around... Pole Position: 77,400 From what I read online, 77,600 is the maximum score on Vectrex Pole Position. ... In Vector War X, Marc ( Vorkosigan ) scored 78.000 in Pole Position. Brett ( playvectrex ) found out that a score of 78.600 and even a bit higher is possible. See here for more details.
