JSVecX.. www.twitchasylum.com/jsvecx/I played around with this emulator today. It has been around for two years so maybe you guys already know about it. No audio (due to being HTML-5 based?). Aliased lines (seen so commonly, as has been noted before in these vector apps), everything is really tiny on the screen. I've never played an actual Vectrex, so don't know how accurate it is compared to the real thing. Otherwise it seems to function relatively well. I did not really enjoy Star Castle, the default game on it. It is kinda lame compared to the arcade version. Perhaps it plays better, on a real Vectrex, in addition to looking better? I'm not a fan of the reduction to 8 segments per ring.. Vectrex hardware could not handle drawing all 12? Yet it could draw all the lines for Starhawk.. There are more than 36 lines in the "Death Star" alone, in Star Hawk. But they could not draw 36 lines for the rings in Star Castle? Doesn't make much sense.

It has been around for two years so maybe you guys already know about it. I think I played an older version of this a long time ago, but I could be wrong. It might've been something else that was similar that had no sound but I doubt there have been this many Vectrex emulators around. Aliased lines (seen so commonly, as has been noted before in these vector apps), everything is really tiny on the screen. Try out Bedlam! The lines jump around big time! I've never played an actual Vectrex, so don't know how accurate it is compared to the real thing. Otherwise it seems to function relatively well. Aside from the jumping around deal, Bedlam plays pretty close to the original. I can't really get into it without any sound, plus I have a real Vectrex anyway I haven't tried much else. I did not really enjoy Star Castle, the default game on it. It is kinda lame compared to the arcade version. Perhaps it plays better, on a real Vectrex, in addition to looking better? Yes, it's small on the Vectrex, but from what I've heard it's supposed to be pretty close to the original (can't say for sure since I haven't played it outside of an emulator).

I have always used M.E.S.S. when I have wanted to try out a Vectrex game I do not have but am interested in buying.
Just might have to check this one out. Thanks celtroniclabs!

ParaJVE is the best Vectrex emulator out there and is actively supported by its author. It also supports Vectrex peripherals such as the voice add on, and the lightpen. Of course you can never can capture truely the vector line beauty on a rasterscan screen - which is a failing of all emulators.

^That last part just makes me wonder how good the Awesome Arcade/P. A. M. units are, since they ARE arcade-like cabinets with Tempest and all. Of course they won't have vector monitors, but still, they might not be too bad.
