Appears still sealed, with a French note on the box. Being sold from France. Did France maybe get the lightpen after all, or could this just be an import from Canada back in the day?

Getting the "still sealed" look isn't hard to do/fake, although it could be real.

You' are quite correct about that. It is not difficult to have it resealed to look like new. The seller does have 100% positive feedback, though. I doubt they'd want to damage their reputation selling something that isn't what is described.

Looks legit. Why would you go to the trouble of resealing a crushed box, and then tear the front of your seal?
