www.vectrexwraps.com/VectrexWraps/Home.htmlJust got an email from Michele about the VectrexWraps. It appears that the original Y.A.S.I./Protector version won't be reproduced, making it original and rare, which is cool because I have one of those from before. But now there will be 3 that can be ordered, Y.A.S.I., Protector and Scramble! That's cool. I think I'll get a Scamble one, I like Scramble but I have some favorite Vectrex games like Space Wars, Star Castle, etc. I'm hoping those will get made as well. I like the idea of having a different one for each Vectrex I own. They can also be removed and reused so that would mean buying even more. My wallet just blinked.

I like these, but wish he would consider a better variety. He's already done Protector and YASI, so if we're limited to just 3 choices I'm going with Scramble. Quite a few people have emailed me over the past 1-2 years to see if I knew how to contact him, and there seems to be a desire to have War of the Worlds, Sundance, and Warrior wraps made. Obviously the remakes are quite popular with the kids playing Vectrex these days Anyway, if he reads this and is interested, I will gladly fund the creation of 1 of the 3 referenced games.

These look nice. I had seen pictures of them but didn't know how to get them. Are these permanent on the Vectrex or are they removable? (Haven't ready the page yet).

I recognize the girl's face (mostly the eyes) on that vectrexwraps website.
That is a crop of a multi-media illustration from a story called "Sinkha", which appeared in the Fall 1996 Special Edition of Heavy Metal Magazine.
It is strange, that I immediately recognized it, from a magazine that I had bought back in 96. I searched for the magazine in my book shelf, and sure enough, there she was, on page 37..
