Wish I would have participated, and entered my gaming into the record for history. Also I would have liked to make a video. But it happened to be the same day as my condemnation appeal with the city. Just had a lot going on lately and didn't keep up with this thread.
I'm certain I played Vectrex that day though. For sure I played Gravitrex. Possibly also Solar Quest and Web Wars. Maybe Minestorm.
Getting ready to try the Narrow Escape 2D hack.

Thanks, Trek! Also I would have liked to make a video. I'll soon be making an announcement video for next year's Day (Yeah, NOW I get to do one!) But it happened to be the same day as my condemnation appeal with the city. Just had a lot going on lately and didn't keep up with this thread. I didn't have anything *really* heavy like that, but the day turned out to be frantic for me too, since the parents were coming home from being out of town for months. Had to finish cleaning up and all... I'm certain I played Vectrex that day though. For sure I played Gravitrex. I can still add your name (if you want to be known as gliptitude) and Gravitrex if you're indeed sure you played.

I can still add your name (if you want to be known as gliptitude) and Gravitrex if you're indeed sure you played. Yes please add me as gliptitude. I certainly played Gravitrex that day. Also certain that I played that game with the Star Castle overlay, as I acquired that around the same time and have been continuously playing that way since. ... That may have been the day I started playing Gravitrex with the SNES pad, which enabled me to finally beat the first galaxy, but which isn't as fun to play with as the GCE conroller. ... BTW my 'condemnation stuff' is not quite as heavy as it might seem. I'm used to living this way and it's something I do on purpose, so that I can work less, do other things, live cheaply and still save money. "Homelessness" would amount to me sleeping on people's couches until I broke down and started paying rent somewhere. Still a very f@@#ed up situation though that makes me really really mad, and has taken a lot of time and energy to deal with. Potentially my dad loses his entire investment and then some in this deal, and it will definitely affect the neighborhood negatively if I move out. Plus I like it here. Anyway, ... Viva Vectrex!

Yes please add me as gliptitude. Done! And the game totals keep on getting redone too, as now Gravitrex ties Vectrexians and War of the Worlds as the most popular homebrews (with Vector Pilot being number one)! "Homelessness" would amount to me sleeping on people's couches until I broke down and started paying rent somewhere. At least you'd still have that if you had to... Anyway, ... Viva Vectrex! Amen to that!

Yeah, I had talked to Oliver about that, that he can update the page and put in Q*Bert as an "honorable mention" Maybe we can start doing that next year, where we put in joke people (or animals) that supposedly played the Vectrex. BTW, vectrexmad, where is it you're situated in the U. K.? Because I've got Wales listed as a country where a participant lives. If you don't live there, let me know where you do reside so I (or you) can add yet another country to the list. 21 people participated now, and 22 once Oliver updates the page!

Well, today I was blown away after seeing photos showing what a different Vectrex fan did in support of International Play your vectrex day. Nobody could beat what he did. Currently I am waiting to get the go ahead to tell more or if he announces himself. Yes, it is me who is based in Wales (I was too lazy to login in to vectrex wiki)

Yeah, especially a couple of those that played several games each! Yes, it is me who is based in Wales (I was too lazy to login in to vectrex wiki) No, I was referring to the Vectrex Regeneration guys, they're from Wales too, which is nuts!

So I got permission to show his photos. They are from my good Vectrex friend KosmikVector - he's also a member on this forum but hasn't been here of late. On the 1st November 2012, KosmikVector got a tattoo of the Vectrex made on his leg! vectrex.wikia.com/wiki/File:KOSMIKVECTOR_TATTOO.JPGI've got more photos on my website and I have added to the Vectrex wiki page.

Ha ha!
I'm also waiting on Oliver from the Vectrex Museum to see what he played. Then once those are up I can copy it over to his backup site. Lotta photos I'll have to send though!
