Just got a great e-mail  Got an immediate response for when I sent out an e-mail about these forums and the changes to Proboards v. 5 and all. A guy had forgotten about the Day and asked if I would still accept pictures (hell, unless Wikia has problems, you can edit pages 365 days a year!). He said this: I have some high scores in the store I believe.
A friend told me about the wiki, and I brought my vectrex to my shop. I then told people about it on my facebook page. Customers came in and played That's great! He got pics of several people smiling as they were playing too! Right now we're working out how he wants to be identified and all (I assume by his store name) so the pics aren't up yet. Probably by tomorrow though... |

On the 1st November 2012, KosmikVector got a tattoo of the Vectrex made on his leg! Holy crap...now THAT'S hardcore!! The only thing though, what did he play on that day? He told me that one the day he played Vector Pilot and he said he completed it once to see the end animation! I updated his entry on the Vectrex Wiki. |

They have some high score list of some kind but I haven't heard back from them in nearly a week now, so what the heck, those pics are up. I think it's great a few people were caught smiling too So I've unstickied this and the thread will die down until about October of next year when this will hopefully get announced again! |

PRESS RELEASECalling all gamers that indulge in a certain black and white console, it's the International Play Your Vectrex Day once more, slated for November 1st, marking the month of the debut of the Vectrex many years ago! The rules are quite simple: one, play your Vectrex on November 1st, and two, submit either your name or nick, and you're all set! Various bonuses are also acceptable, such as taking one or more Vectrex-related photos, making drawings, etc. The (pretty simple) rules and regulations can be seen here: vectrex.wikia.com/wiki/International_Play_Your_Vectrex_DayLast year we had 24 "official" people play on this Day, along with several additional non-official players, plus one bonus Honorable mention spread out over at least six known countries.
