Thank you for your inspiring descriptions of "The End", VectorX and TrekMD . I've searched a bit and found a video of "The End":

I had never heard of this game before. I've only played the 2600 version that was recently released but comparing it with the video, the programmer did a good job porting the gameplay to the system.

^Yep, and fairly good graphics too for the 2600. Here's a video for that port: I had never heard of this game before. You didn't miss much, in my opinion Plus with all the many arcades I went to in my life I only saw it at one ever. Think that sums it up.

As I'm restating what I said in the "Vectrex Academy" thread, I wonder how many levels of Miner 2049'r could be accomplished with a Vectrex clone if done on a full 32K or 64K cart. Because you HAVE to have as many levels as possible for that game; I'd say the two Miner ports that were released for the Atari 2600 back in the day didn't cut it since each of them only had three levels (blasphemy!), but Tigervision also screwed up and made them waaaay the hell harder than they should've been (those jumps over the mutants just barely worked ever. Ridiculous!).

Miner 2049'r's AWESOME on several platforms (namely the computer ones, and the ColecoVision one). 2600 ports were too hard.
Mountain King's an interesting idea! You should *really* have to know what you're doing, rather than with Miner.

Looks like C-64 1nvader is ripe for a redo:
I'm not familiar with the game so it just looks like you're shooting just the saucer over and over (seems to be a half-assed attempt at a game to me if that's it, you can do WAY more with a C-64!). You can have the original version, along with possibly another game variation where you mix the saucers with Galaxian- or Space Invaders-like waves, etc. Quite a bit you can do with bottom shooters with up to 32, if not 64K if you have to.

… hehe, replace the saucer by a number, and the cannon by a bow, and add some more features, and you have "The Count"
