Hi guys, I've been looking for these CGE controller sticker replacements that I bought a couple of years ago and I though they were lost forever...: Are these replacemets hard to find?? I surprisingly bought them here in Spain to a guy that also had a CGE Vectrex with all the chips socketed but it was non working so I finally didn't buy it. I also have pics on the console if you want to see them.

Those look great! I had never seen them. Do you actually have 6 controllers?!?!?

No, I just have two controllers but this guy had these six you see and he was selling them so cheap that I ended buying all. I would have preferred MB stickers as my Vectrex is spanish but couldn´t ask for more. I need to open and clean one controller soon, button 4 fails sometimes, so I will probably need one of these. I hope the glue is still ok after 30 years...

Wow, those are monstrously nice! I hadn't seen those. (One for the next addition of the Vectrex wiki news...whenever it'll be!) I would have preferred MB stickers as my Vectrex is spanish but couldn´t ask for more. Could you put up a pic or two of it? I've never seen one before, or at least not one with any Spanish on it, I mean.

I'm not sure if cleaning it will get it to work. I can understand your preference for the MB sticker but, as "they" say, beggars are not choosers.

Ok, here's a pic of the back of the console, it's the only place with spanish written on it, the rest is like the other euro MB Vectrex: Sorry for the quality, my camera is not the best and is very old... If you want better pics let me know and I will try with my GF camera this weekend. This is one pic that sent me the guy which I bought the stickers, as you see the console has the chips socketed, I don't know if it's rare or simply another model. I have more pics if needed: @trek: If the buttons fails is very possible to have dirt inside that doesn't allow good conexion, if other thing is wrong I can't help much. Remember, to reach the screws you will need to use a hair dryer to heat the sticker or it will crack for sure!

Hi guys, I've been looking for these CGE controller sticker replacements that I bought a couple of years ago and I though they were lost forever...: Are these replacemets hard to find?? Not if you are going to start selling them on ebay Seriously though, I have four of these too. I purchased them about two years ago from a gentleman in the US. He produced these himself. He only ever produced the GCE ones because I remember asking him at the time if he would consider to make the MB ones and he said no. About a year later I saw that he was selling them again on ebay again but then he stated in the description that they were his last and he would not be producing them again. Not sure how many he actually made...

Not sure how many he actually made... No I don't want to sell them and never wanted, I was actually thinking about framing four and leave the other two for replacement. I never read about repros, I though they were original replacements as they're exactly the same material. I bought these to a guy here in Spain a couple of years ago so I suppose he bought them to the guy you're saying. BTW, who made them??

It might've been more than one person who made them.

Interesting but are doing these repros somewhat profitable?? I paid 2€ each so I really doubt it. What amazes me is the quality, they doesn't look homemade.

There are several individuals that don't make much money from Vectrex stuff, just look at the very low prices for Protector/Y*A*S*I (not counting if they have to be shipped overseas), Nebula Commander, Revector, and Thrust. And the people who made those aren't really making money, plus they're available for free download too. It's just for the love of the machine and providing a good service, I think

Nice to see so much love without money interests. BTW, Nebula Commander is a really fun game!

It's great indeed! Lotta replay value. I give it an 8-8.5 out of 10
