Not sure how to word this. I'm wondering if there is a collection anywhere of Vectrex images. I'm thinking of, say, the animation (and the da-da-daaaa opening music tones) you see when you first turn on the Vectrex. You know, the "GCE Entertaining New Ideas" and the two sets of dashed lines animating around the screen edge. Or even still images of various game screen shots. I know it would be nearly impossible with a real Vectrex but I'm wondering if with newer emulators on regular PCs if there is some place to find some examples like that.
I ask because I think it would be cool to have those images and sounds used as a splash screen or login screen for a PC instead of the stock images and tones that Windows 7 or Ubuntu have when you log onto those OSs.

I've photographed/video taped my Vectrex quite a bit. Usually I am trying to just document Art Master content that I've made, or overlay prototypes, and it's not necessarily an attractive image.
But other times I'm taking still images of graphics displayed with overlay, often in an otherwise dark room. I like these results a lot and I use them for my homescreen on my iPad. They are somewhat subjective, rather than 'documentary' or straightforward representations - cropped down to just the screen graphics, glowy bleeding vectors etc.
Maybe I'll post here if I get on my other computer later. Probably not what you were really looking for, but I encourage you to get out a digital camera and make your own, even if it's just a phone camera. You can get really cool results with some experimentation with just about any digital camera. Not appropriate for documenting Vectrex, but quite viable for making a fun image!

No Coloring *(Colouring...)* on these, since I do not have overlays. But Felt it not worthwhile doing "Color-up's" in The GiMP... Enjoy. These were done from uploaded Video's I made and Screen Captured from Youtube... Which makes it SOOO easy... I have higher res versions, but don't wish to upload those. -sean [/img] Attachments:

Gah I spent way too much time trying to photograph Polar Rescue today, only to not quite get what I was looking for. Anyway, here are a few interesting ones. ... I figure some people have never seen these game images before since it's kind of an obscure game. Also, if the game doesn't really appeal to you, maybe you never made it to the DOCKING SEQUENCE which is quite awesome. Attachments:

Not sure why these are posting sideways. Docking was difficult to photograph and this is the single best image I got. No overlay in these photos. Attachments:
