Heh, the first Vectrex I got oddly is the only one I have yet seen that does not display crazy warping vectors and puppet strings when the brightness is up all the way. ... Now having seen what is the norm for maximum brightness on a Vectrex, I think it would be cool if somebody designed a game that was intended to play WITH the puppet strings displaying.
I've found actually that when I am showing people Vectrex for the first time, one of the most impressive things to them is seeing what it looks like at maximum brightness. ... Some games look cooler than others, and I wonder if these patterns are determined pretty predictably by the order in which the graphics are programmed to be drawn?
Anybody else think this would be cool or viable? ... Perhaps you pop the cart in with normal brightness and see the title screen in focus, and then there is a text prompt "Please adjust Vectrex to maximum brightness!".

A very odd idea! Maybe for some sort of a puzzle game or something it'd work. I don't really know what else it could be used for but others may have ideas.

I'm no programmer but that seems like a nifty idea. The question is the type of game that would benefit from this.
