I have a Vectrex kiosk that I'm considering selling. It's in absolutely amazing shape and has been the centerpiece of my collection for a long time now. I had a second kiosk in far worse condition that I sold and shipped to Rick Weis not long ago. Due to the fragile nature of the kiosk (these things love to crack), I'd prefer local pickup. I'm located just outside of Boston for reference. Of all the kiosk I've seen posted over the years, I have to imagine my is in contention for being the nicest example around. Let me know if you want me to post up some pictures and shoot me a PM if you're interested in making an offer. I know many members of this site through other forums, but I can provide plenty of feedback regardless. Hey, Boston Lincolnshire or Boston USA? Boston USA. I'm actually born and raised in Watertown MA, home of the Marathon Bomber showdown. It's certainly not the best thing to be known for, but now I can at least stop telling people I'm from Boston lol. My Vectrex lot arrived today. Here's a pic of the prototypes in the lot as well as the Minestorm II cart (one of the things I plan on keeping): I know the pic sucks, but the prototypes are Berzerk, Solar Quest, and Scramble. I think I've had a prototype of every released Vectrex title at this point outside of the really obscure stuff like Minestorm II, Mr. Boston, etc. Edit: My pic wont show up for some reason, so here's a direct link: i81.photobucket.com/albums/j204/beaglepussband/stupid%20sh*t/821c66aa-ef53-4486-8095-8229dcd2a400_zpsea82ef18.jpg

That link won't work either sadly.

Yeah, I tried editing it but I couldn't figure it out. Is the album set to private? If so, a direct photo link for a picture is the only way to work, not a url link.

Ah, success!!!
The prototypes have already been sold to a great vectrex collector (same guy I've sold my other 18 prototypes to). He's so easy to deal with and is so passionate about collecting, so I always cut him a deal.
I've got a ton of other goodies that I'll be moving soon, and I'll post here first.

Wow, Vectrex protos! Definitely rare indeed. Oddly enough, I find myself tripping over them. I primarily collect for the NES, and mainly prototypes for the system at that. For whatever reason I've had a far easier time finding vectrex prototypes than that of any other system. I've come across unreleased games for the NES, Genesis, SNES, Famicom, Game Gear, PC Engine, and even the CDi, all of which were hard to track down for one reason or another. With the Vectrex though, I've managed to find prototypes in three separate eBay lots. I've also been lucky enough to come across two Vectrex kiosk in the wild, one of which I still have. I don't know what it is. Maybe its divine intervention and God is a huge fan of the vectrex.

I'm still looking for: == Homebrew - All good things - Vectopia - Moon Lander - Spike Hoppin' - Patriots - Vector Vaders - Nebula Commander - Thrust - VeCaves/Spike's Spree - Star Sling (LE) - City Bomber (LE) - Vectorcade (Original, made by Brett Wallach) - Spinnerama - Tsunami/Vix - Mr. Boston - Joust == Hardware - American Display Stand - Bubble Stand - Dust Cover (MB?) I hope that several of the above games will become available via Packrat, again.

View AttachmentHi! Are you looking for these very recent versions? Or the very very first ones ? I don't care too much which version it is, the recent one's shown in your picture would be fine. Your Thrust would is still missing in my collection, would you swap or sell it?

- Vectorcade (Original, made by Brett Wallach) You don't have one? Right, I don't have one, yet. The Vectorcades sold in the recent past were quite expensive. And until now I couldn't convince Brett to produce more of his Vectorcades. ;-) - American Display Stand - Bubble Stand Wow, to go with your promo display you already have! Yes, would be cool to have all the three types of display stands. Though I guess this will never happen - the stands are very rare, shipping is quite expensive and my wife might kill me if I fill the room with even more Vectrex stuff. Let' see..
