She's a bit younger than I. She grew up on SMS, Genesis, NES, & SNES. Everything older is "ghetto" & everything newer is not of interest. I can whup her & upset her on Dr. Mario, but she's got mad SMB3 & SMW skillz.

And by the time he picks up on modern gaming, he'll be so disenfranchised by it that he'll start to reminisce about a time when video games were good. Which, ironically, came about ten (or more) years before he was born. I feel for the younger generations as they venture into gaming, but at least your son has a guiding hand in that frontier, an Obi-Wan Kenobi who teaches him the ways of his ancestors.
