Anyone get this game yet? I think it's the current most recent Vectrex cart release but I don't have much information on how it plays. Always nice to see new Vectrex releases.

Darrin9999 (I think it was) posted a pic of having it in his collection last week, but he had just received it and hadn't tried it out yet at the time. Definitely looks interesting.

I've played it a bit. Nice game, not overly exciting but its different. Combining cards is a nice feature but I wish there were more cards to combine and wish there were more cards period. So far, I've found 18 cards between what you're dealt and combinations. I will say that I'm not sure what "infect" or "possess" actually do but I think that each card makes such a minute effect on your health or your opponents health that it understandable. I think a health bar or just a number would have been a little better than an "orb" of health. Overall, pretty good though.

I think a health bar or just a number would have been a little better than an "orb" of health. Overall, pretty good though. Interesting information about the peculiar "orb of health" element. ... I've noticed some pretty interesting health and life indicators in several of Fury's games, and taken note of these as cool style points. - In Zantis the life indicator is an icon of the player ship, with a number next to it. It only appears briefly, after a life is lost, and it fades in and out when it does this. Very cool in my opinion. - The little circles in Sectis each display as empty or filled in, according to how many hits the player has taken. Accompanied by player ship icon I think. Also sectii icon with numeral display of sectii remaining. I think it's the same in Continuum, (minus the sectii counter). ... I think the player health circles look awesome in Sectis. - Health indication in I,Cyborg is maybe less visually appealing, but still very bizarre and unique, with a number appearing briefly on the players back after taking a hit. ... Outside of Fury games, one of my favorite 'indicators' among Vectrex games is the countdown timer in Cosmic Chasm, with hundredths of seconds(?). For me this timer seems to draw attention to the machine itself, and parallel the computing operations of constantly counting and executing, at a very rapid interval. ... It would be cool to see more games that make a fetish of this, giving visual indications of various counting and measuring operations.
