I have Star Sling on my VecMulti but have no idea how to play it.

It has something to do with "slinging" two objects together, which is about all I know.
Hopefully Mayhem or someone else on here can offer some more instructions than that. Also, I think it also takes the analog control only but I could be wrong.
NOTE TO GUEST: I just went ahead and made a new thread out of this, as I didn't think it belonged in the thread you originally posted it to.

As one of the lucky folks with a CIB Star Sling...
Before the game starts, move the cursor and press button 2 to place your Star Spider. You must ensure nothing collides with this, and you only get one life per game!
Joystick - move cursor
Button 1 - fires the Star Sling. Starts at the point of the cursor, hold button 1 and move the stick to stretch the sling to envelop asteroids. Release the button to contract the sling to cause ensnared objects to collide. Use the Star Sling consumes energy.
Button 2 - activates tractor mode. Select an asteroid with the cursor and press the button. Your Star Spider will match its velocity. This is the only way to move your Star Spider.
Colliding two or more matching asteroids causes them to explode and disappear, earning points and regaining energy. Colliding mismatch asteroids causes them to fragment and create new asteroids.

Whoa Star Sling is part of the collection that comes on the VecMulti? This will cause me to hasten to buy the VecMulti. I know no other way to get this game anymore. It's offered for free on Vectorzoa's website, but you have to submit a request for it and he no longer responds to those requests apparently.
Are there any other difficult to attain games on the VecMulti? I know you can put whatever you want on it, but Richard H. has been shipping them with ROMs already written. ... If I get one of these can I save the ROMs that come on it before I re-write the cart???
I most of all wish that Spike's Circus was still attainable in any form.

The VecMulti uses a mini SD card. You can put however many ROMs you want onto the card (and then run the menu generator) at the same time.
Star Sling used to be part of the ParaJVE package I believe. I have that here, so if you want the Star Sling ROM Gliptitude, send me a message here with your email address.

Yeah, it's on there, complete with overlay!
I guess Richard Hutchinson quit producing those carts a while back too? Because I checked on the Vectorzoa site and it said one of the three versions of the game could be bought from him.

Richard is definitely still making them as in he hasn't discontinued, I think he's waiting on a component or such to be able to make more.

Whups, that's Madtronix that's making those (I had just looked at the Star Sling page again), not Hutchinson. Still nice to see that this game could still be bought (I hope), as I thought it was one of those games that had been "lost", only available as a download for multicarts and emulators.

I don`t know if this was about my post on the VecMulti board, but I did buy it from Richard Hutchinson. Not Madtronix.

I thought Madtronix was inactive and not taking orders for anything in recent years? Last year announced a new website, but no updates since.

If I had a spare copy of Star Sling, I'd think about letting it go (considering potential demand and possible value on eBay), but sadly I don't. I have the CIB and the slimline version, but only one of each.

I thought Madtronix was inactive and not taking orders for anything in recent years? Not orders, he just said don't send money, plus that was only for Imagers. Don't know about S. Sling though. Last year announced a new website, but no updates since. Yeah, I wish he'd fully reappear Maybe sometime before the end of the year?
