Earlier in the day, at the thrift store I picked up a 9" TV I've been looking for this type of small screen CRT TV for ages, but they seem as common as hens teeth here! I want to retro-fit my broken Apple Classic case with a TV and turn it into a mini gaming platform, probably using a PI or something similar. Now if I ever found a vector screen that would fit (not likely though, it would probably be too long even if I did get a tube with the right sized display), I could make something else entirely, resurrecting the project I scrapped after my oscilloscope blew up (and I do mean blew up!)

Well if they are so rare there maybe i can trade you this one for something.

Nice haul there 50tbrd. I'd be curious what you think of Wii Sin and Punishment. I went out of my way to get that one and do not regret it. Not my type of game exactly but it has some of the best controls on Wii and really feels ideal with remote/nunchuck in my opinion. Tons of options though for various control preferences.
Have you tried Twilight Princess on the WiiU yet?

I've heard good things about Sin and Punishment. So I picked it up.
I'll always prefer 2D Zelda games a la Link's Awakening and a Link to the Past plus BS Zelda is amazing. I picked up Hyrule Warriors because I liked Dynasty Warriors and the Gundam version. Twilight Princess isn't at the top of my list but I might get it eventually. My next purchases will be Xenoblade Chronicles X, DK Tropical Freeze, Star Fox Zero or Super Luigi. It usually depends on if I can get a deal on the price. I check Amazon pretty much every day.

Stepping it up with my VCS endeavors. Just got one of these in the mail today, ordered from the official site and shipped suprisingly quickly. I opted for the standard version rather than the Encore. I only know of one game that i want to play that can only be played on the Encore and I'm pretty sure that game has not been made available as ROM anyway. I still think real carts are more fun, particularly on this console (for some reason). I thought about just buying the couple games I wanted right away instead of buying this, especially since one of them was the 64K game that won't ever play on this. But I decided it would just be too cool to be able to test homebrew betas on real hardware. Not to mention rare games and finished homebrews that i can't afford yet. All currently available Harmony carts play Supercharger cassettes games too, which is pretty useful to me since i don't ever plan on owning one of those.

^Why not, unless you don't want to bother tracking down the actual tapes? They released some pretty good games, especially Escape from the MindMaster, which is absolutely fantastic due to the mini-games.

Yeah the Harmony cart means i don't have to find the Supercharger hardware but i can still play the Supercharger software. I thought i heard the Supercharger was semi rare and pricey. I'm generally not spending much of anything on Atari, except for a few homebrew games/hardware or maybe a rare joystick or two.

The Harmony is excellent! I have a SuperCharger that I bought back then and is still works well. I love The Official Frogger for it. It is my most favorite port of the game for a home system.
