I can only imagine the pricetag on this controller ... The parts don't bull the market, I think. It's mainly the time and effort. I can imagine the fun on this controller... ;-)

IDK. The Yeti controller is the only homebrew controller with an analog stick that I've seen. George did tell us that it was an extremely difficult to build item, labor intensive like you say hcmffm, but I think he also said that the reason he is definitely not going to make any more is that he has permanently run out of materials for the stick.
I had searched and looked around on all sorts of electronic components vendors and the only reasonably priced analog sticks I was ever able to find were the tiny Play Station style ones, which might not be ideal for this purpose. ... Those are quite plentiful and inexpensive though, and could still be cool maybe.

Wow, that's killer looking! kokovec on here made a PS2/Gamecube to Vectrex Adapter, so my guess is it's possible.

This Sony dual joystick looks really cool. I've just look in ebay Germany and two of 'em are offered. :-) Would be cool if someone could confirm/proof that it can be connected to the Vectrex. Perhaps recycledgamer could make this stick Vectrex compatible and sell it in his shop.

It cannot be connected to Vectrex without a special custom adapter. I'm not sure how Recycledgamer would go about it.
... If I had to pick one, I would rather have the standard PS2 controller. It is such a classic, one of the top 3 or 4 game controllers ever, in my opinion.
