Just wondering if vectrexmad or anyone else knew.
I'm sure it falls monstrously short of the 64,000 of the arcade original, but it seems to have a few more than the Atari 2600 version.

I don't think it's too many... just a handful? It's just the number of robots that differs, I think. (From memory. It's a while since I played it.)

Pretty sure its the same as the original. The rooms aren't stored as data but generated procedurally iirc.

Yeap that's right 64,000 possibilities for random maze. That's why if you go back in to a previous maze it's never the same.

I'd assume there are probably exactly 65,536 rooms.

yes most probably, but 64,000 rolls off the tongue better! and that's what they reported in the original Berzerk arcade advertising.
