I was doing some research on the color Vectrex, because I was weirded out as to why this Vectrex's screen: Vectrex with blue screen is so blue. However, when I Google-searched "color vectrex" into images, this image popped out to me: an image I've never seen.I didn't realize the controller from the Portable Vectrex prototype was in circulation! info THAT is now my ultimate (dream) crown jewel to my collection.

Yeah, I remembered seeing that from when the Vectrex Museum and VectrexMad! put it up on their sites.
I was also talking to Miva Filoseta (he made most of the overlays) in regards to the prototype Vectrex those belong to, which a sketch of his seemed to match that machine, which I never found out if those were one and the same (I've requested a follow-up to answer some last questions of his wiki page several times over the years to no answer, unfortunately).
Good luck trying to get your hands on one of them though! I doubt many were made, much less survived all these years.

Wow that looks awesome. Does it fit in a matching prototype console?

Really interesting - thanks for the link, desfeek. This prototype(?) was developed after the real Vectrex, right?

Correct, this was a mock-up for the planned 5" portable Vectrex. Portable Vectrex PrototypeI just didn't know the controller was actually IN a collector's possession. Especially one as prominent as Digital Press.
