I wonder what the status of Revival Studios is. Did anyone hear of Martijn Wenting? Or could someone even talk to him at the Eurocon? Martijn's games VHockey and Shifted are really great; it would be cool if he picked up Vectrex development, again.

Yeah, he was supposed to have some new Vectrex stuff this year, one of which was an "Arcade Pak" that I was interested in. Perhaps he got delayed a bit (last I heard he needed to order some new PCBs but that was months ago).

If anyone does hear from him, let me know. I sent him an email last week and still not had a reply sadly.

It took me over a year to purchase Debris Revisited. After numerous queries with Revival Studios (and no responses), I bought it from Good Deal Games instead. I had even had a couple people who had done business with them in the past make inquiries on my behalf. Never heard anything.
I do seem to remember seeing a few updates to the site throughout the process, so I don't know what was going on. I was on the mailing list beginning with my very first inquiry and received occasional mass mailings from them, but never a response to my attempted purchase.

Cheers, didn't realise it was available at GDG, I might have to go that route then myself.

^- Yeah that's where I got it. I'm not sure how stable his stock is. I seem to remember that one thing he offered me was not listed as available on his site and that another thing I wanted listed as available was actually not available. I also bought Continuum with that order, which was sold out on furyunlimited.com.

I have the EE version of Debris Revisited (given I helped playtest and design the levels), but I'd like the normal version for the collection too you see.

From what I can read it's not just me having trouble contacting Martijn. During playtesting Shifted and Debris Revisited Martijn and I were in close contact. But for about a year now there is silence. No replies, even orders of Shifted and Debris Revisited remained unreplied. As written above it's a pity because some of Martijn's games are really cool.
Perhaps we start something like a petition to Martijn?

^Yeah, it sucks when Vectrex people flake out and disappear and such. But then I guess we're all a bit of an odd lot anyway Cheers, didn't realise it was available at GDG, That, or some of us knew that but forgot (such as myself).

Afaik Martijn organised the last Eurocon in Elst last month.. I then suppose that he is still involved in games programming (other than Vectrex) but may be busy at the time.

If you want to get the game from GDG, I suggest you email them ASAP to find out if they have it in stock. Sometimes they only have a limited number of carts of these games and they sell out quickly.

In the end, I did order from GDG, and they came through, so it's now sitting on my shelf

GoodDealGames' prices are o.k., but I'd rather see the money going into the developer's pockets than anyone elses. I really hope that Martijn shows up, again.
