The Vectrex itself probably won't fetch much if you don't know the source of the problem. I've purchased dead Vecs for $20 and reanimated them for around $20 more. Some couldn't be saved. The loose carts kind of sweeten the deal though. Too bad you're so far away. I would have taken it off your hands. I'm sure shipping it to Silicon Valley wouldn't be cheap.

You don't have boxes for the games but you do have the overlays. If they are in good shape that brings the value up a bit in my mind. Sold individually that could probably fetch a little over $20 USD each. I'm not sure what the Vectrex market looks like in your neck of the woods though.

This thread really belongs in the FOR SALE section...
I didn't realize you had the overlays. If you have them for all of these games, as well as Minestorm, and if they are all in good shape, (not cracked or severely worn), those might be the most valuable part of this lot, as well as the easiest to sell, (not so hard to ship).
If AUS $65 is equal to US $65, I'd say that is a fair price WITHOUT THE OVERLAYS. That's about what I'd pay locally. So you could accept the offer, provided you keep the overlays. Otherwise maybe counter with $100. .. Priced individually though, it ought to add up HIGHER than this, in my opinion, (IF you have ALL of these game overlays and IF they are in good shape).
*** I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN BUYING THE OVERLAYS IF YOU CAN SHIP TO U.S.A.
I would also be interested in buying just WEB WARP and the WEB WARP OVERLAY.
PM me if you like.

I'd certainly be interested in the controller as well.
.. Actually if you wanted to separate everything (games, overlay, CONTROLLER) from the console/monitor and ship to U.S., I'd probably be able to come up with a decent offer.
I'd love to have the whole lot but it's just too much to ship, and that's the problem you're going to run into.

This thread really belongs in the FOR SALE section... I'll move it momentarily... If AUS $65 is equal to US $65, Depending on the strength of the Aussie dollar, it's usually like twice the U. S. amount. So for it to have to be equal it'd have to be about $130 AUS (give or take a few).

Eh, just noticed that the $65 offer was just for the games? Not the console?
Still not sure the $ you are using. If it converts to half that in USD like VectorX suggests, that is way low, even without the console.
.. If you are separating the games from the console there is no reason for you to sell direct locally. You will get much more competitive offers on the internet, even if you restrict yourself to Australia, and it shouldn't be a problem for you to ship those.
