A first version of the Pole Position manual² is complete. Thanks for the Pole Position logo goes to Anthony Holcomb. Please use "Refresh" in your webbrowser to see the latest edition of the Pole Position manual². Next manual will be the Polar Rescue manual² - completion might take a while and might need till end of February. EDIT: A first version of the Polar Rescue manual² is complete apart from the logo.

hey i wanted to print out 1 of the manuals but the size is incorrect when i open it in pdf program the size is 105x158 << incorrect manual size it needs to be 200x144 can you correct that ! The Vectrex Manual²s are almost 100% exact redesigns of the original manuals. The manuals I've vectorized so far are all 105 x 158 mm (width x height), so I don't understand what your problem is. Please note that the Vectrex manual²s have been designed for best viewing, not for best printing. I. e. one page of the original manual is one page in the PDF and you cannot just do a double-sided print to create a paper manual. As Rapetou33 has requested, already, I would also like to ask you to use upper/lower case spelling and to put a bit more effort in searching the forum and thinking before posting. Thank you.

I think it's mostly for a quality scan and not intended to be an exact duplicate of the original.

i ask because of this / Graphic tool for creating booklet (=Vectrex manual) Now, I wonder what the right software for such a booklet with text and graphics would be. Word? Open Office? Corel Draw? Currently, I tend to use Corel Draw 10 which has been used in the past for Vectrex Overlays and is available by some people, here. Corel Draw would allow for printing to a PDF printer and creating a master for professional printing. Before starting with Corel Draw 10 I would like to hear other voices.

You can find a discussion which graphic tool to use best at the beginning of this thread. Please don't spoil topics with your questions that just come to your mind and use a different topic for your further postings. Thank you. And in the likely case you haven't read, yet: "COPYRIGHT NOTICE: Usage of the Vectrex manual²s in private is free. Please do not use in part or whole for any commercial purposes or host on any other site without expressed agreement and permission of 50tbrd and me."

Helmet made these so there would be a high quality manual for others to look at. Printing is available but making an exact copy of originals isn't it's intention. This keeps people from making reproductions. Reproductions at least in our community, are something we try very hard to keep away.

After a pause I've put some more work in the Polar Rescue manual². Now, a first version is complete but it still needs some fine-tuning. I'll finish it by end of August.
