Was there anything ever released about these besides screenshots and a picture of the cable? It seems no one has heard from Alex Herbert in years. I've seen mention of the veclink in rec.games.vectrex but it doesn't look like anything has come of it recently. www.herbs64.com/berzerka.html

Unless there was one that Alex did, the Vectrex Maze demo was something entirely different/unrelated, which was done by Christopher Salomon (sp?). But no, Alex hasn't updated his site, much less been heard from in years either (the forums supposedly under construction have never been seen to the best of my knowledge) I sent him an e-mail months ago in regards to setting up a page for him on my Vectrex wiki but even though the e-mail never came bouncing back I never heard from him either. Hopefully he and/or Christopher Tumber will reappear at some point, they are both missed.

I thought I had read a post by Alex H. talking about using the vectrex maze demo for testing the veclink. This demo would then end being expanded upon and becoming Berzerk Arena.

Just realized where I had seen that info. It was on the herbs64.com news page.

Oh, ok. There was a similarly-titled Vectrex maze demo by C. Salomon. That wasn't for the VecLink though, of course.

Alex Herbert unfortunately suffered a major medical issue around 2005, leaving him unable to continue programming. Vectrex players everywhere wish him the best every time they boot up Protector It would be great if someone with the knowhow and motivation could continue his project ideas. Some great stuff came from that man. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IXXa3seDLw this kind of thing always gives me hope

Alex Herbert unfortunately suffered a major medical issue around 2005, leaving him unable to continue programming. That sucks. Might be something similar happened to Tumbler, as I heard he suffered a house fire years ago. Might have been trauma associated with that, or it killed him finances-wise, or both, or other things. Hah, I've been working on some questions recently to build up a wiki page for him
