I have Bedlam, Heads Up, Hyperchase and Spinball you can have but I possess all but Spike and Melody Master (which I'd buy complete copies if I could ever find them in good condition.

I have the Manual of Spike, but I don't have a scanner right now. I can manage to find one and to send you the scanned manual!

I have every manual (given I own complete US, Europe and Japanese sets!) but I won't be in front of a high quality scanner until this weekend... I may be able to do a few

I don't think Helmut is in any hurry to get the scans as these are part of the Vectrex Manual2 project which is a long term project. Melody Master is an important one though, as he is currently working on the manuals for the Light Pen games.

Thank you for all the offers and feedback - that's much appreciated. :-) I don't think Helmut is in any hurry to get the scans as these are part of the Vectrex Manual2 project which is a long term project. Melody Master is an important one though, as he is currently working on the manuals for the Light Pen games. 50tbrd knows my plans. :-) As written before I intend to vectorize all GCE Vectrex manuals. This is quite some work and is therefore a long time project. I plan to handle the manuals in series: 1. 3D series (3D MineStorm, 3D Narrow Escape, and 3D Crazy Coaster) 2. Lightpen series (ArtMaster, Melody Master, and Animaction) 3. Grey/Black series (Star Castle, Dark Tower, Polar Rescue, ...) 4. Grey series (Armor Attack, Berzerk, Cosmic Chasm, ...) Mayhem: If you could do Melody Master in the coming 3-4 weeks that would be great. Scan quality is supposed to be 600dpi greyscale in PNG or TIFF format (please no JPG because this is a lossy format that will affect image quality), two pages per scan. Please leave the scans unprocessed, no needed for straightening or cutting into pages. 50tbrd & Mayhem: After Melody Master the next manuals won't be needed before summer, because I own some of the manuals of the Grey/Black series myself. Following manuals would be needed by summer: Fortress of Narzod Heads Up Bedlam Web Warp Spike Spinball It would be perfect if you could scan in step-by-step and over the months all the manuals I'm lacking of. Would that be feasible for you, 50tbrd and Mayhem? Luitoine: Thank you very much for your offer. If you don't mind I would let 50tbrd / Mayhem scan in all the manuals unless they ask for support.

Per my records, I've got 50 unique manuals, including homebrews, accessories, etc. etc. I could just throw the whole set into a package for you to scan as you wish.
However, I'm a bit hesitant to ship all this goodness from the USA to Germany & back. Even if we used insurance & it were lost/damaged & I was awarded an insurance claim (lots of ifs!), this package would be nigh impossible to replace.
Perhaps using a Priority International flat rate box would safe?
Thanks, -Jason

I can see about Melody Master over the weekend. Will also give me an idea how large any other scanning might take...

jasonbarThank you for your offer and thinking about sending your precious overseas. Sending the manuals around would be an option, but scans would be even better than actual paperware. The scans are simpler to transfer (even no need to send them back) and additionally they save me time. So let's see how Mayhem goes with the scanning. MayhemCool. Let's see what you think after the scan of Melody Master and then decided how to proceed. Thank you very much in advance for your help! :-)

Alright, let me know.
I offer to ship vs. scan b/c I go to the post office every week anyway, & time is my bottleneck, so no time to scan. :]

Mayhem: Mayhem, I've received your Melody Master scan. The scans are in good quality and exactly what I need. Thank you very much for your help and effort! :-) After Melody Master my pipeline is full and next scan won't be needed before summer/autumn. Would it be o.k. for you to scan in additional manuals, then (one scan per month would sufficient)?
