Seeing some other recent game videos currently under development reminds me a comment I was going to make earlier. The Vectrex does not have any Spy Theme titles. A title I could see a possibility for porting to the Vectrex is Spy Hunter, a vertical scrolling action/driving game with shooting aspects. How does that theme relate to this game? I see this title as having some beginning aspects similar in feel to Spy Hunter. YouTube. In addition to fun game play Spy Hunter also uses the James Gunn music giving the game a nice music theme during play in addition to the other sounds. I see SEELENWALZER having some beginning aspects similar in feel to Spy hunter. This is all sort of funny-weird as I roll around the translation "Soul Waltz" in my brain. Other titles I would like to see with the Spy / Sniper theme: Goldensys Spy vs. Spy Sniper Elite Elevator Action Metal Gear In Cold Blood Evil Genius The Operative: No One Lives Forever Undercover: Operation Wintersun Silent Scope title series (Silent Scope, Dark Silhouette, Fatal Judgment, EX) I do grant you the list above coveres more than a few game play styles. The feel for some of the titles may not be easily replicated on the Vectrex. But some titles like Silent Scope should also be attainable . Maybe even using the lightpen or driving controllers.

James Gunn? Is that Peter's brother? An overhead car racing/shooting game is missing on the Vectrex. I know Martijn was working towards an overhead racer at some point, but that's as much as I know (and briefly tested the concept he'd created).

Yeah, I had said on my "Atari and the Vectrex" write-up years ago that Spy Hunter could probably be doable on the machine. Good point about no spy-themed games though; hadn't thought of that one, I was just thinking of scrolling in regards to S. Hunter.

I have a bit of aversion to spy games (having worked on a couple commercial ones ) actually silent scope was one I have considered making but its some way down the list at the moment.
