I think Mayhem on here is the owner. AFAIK, it wasn't completed.

No, it wasn't. I just wonder what the gameplay involves, if it's Joust-like, but with some additional mechanics added to it, or if it's something totally different entirely than the arcade original.

Maybe another Coder can port it.

When (rather than if) John gets the overlays for it to me, I may make a short video of what gameplay exists. No, it wasn't that complete, perhaps 20-30% is there.

Maybe another Coder can port it. That might devalue Mayhems cartridge somewhat. I'm tempted to do a version of Nintendo's Joust-alike 'Balloon Fight' at some point in the future though, I love that game.

It's too bad this game was not completed. The screen shots on the Vectrozoa site look very good.

It's still the only Vectorzoa Joust. By the way, I didn't know that Vectorzoa has done/tried a Joust port and I think some ppl don't know it too. What I'm trying to say is: someone will port it, soon or later.

Alex stopped development partly because he thought he'd get a C&D from Midway. Any of the Williams arcade machines is going to get a bit more attention than some of the others because the copyrights are still very much valid and pursued.

Yeah, but most of the Coders who port, don't care about that, as I see with every new port. So..

^Apparently he did. So I guess it was going to be a bit like Joust after all.

BTW: Sounds like binarystar got the ambition to do something like Joust, so... maybe a VecJoust is coming, we will see

Same for Music by the way Of course its not legal, but you can get away with it if you release it for free Ideally under a pseudonym. Get it out onto the internet before they have a chance to send you a cease and desist. If on the other hand you intend to make a cart to sell, then they are more likely to come after you and you risk a lot more.
